Hey Y’all

Well, I have been on vacation all week, and I thought that would lead me over here to blog more, but in fact, I have been on the computer less. I took some much needed me time in order to prepare for NaNoWriMo 2017 by spending a lot of time outdoors. I took a ton of photographs (some I may even have printed and framed), and I am in fact, working on my next novel. My other one is currently being legitimately proofread which is exciting because that one I will be pushing to publish.

So far I have written almost 10,000 words in the last three days on my current project. I like to get ahead as much as possible in case something comes up and I can’t write. I also like to do it that way because by mid-November I am sometimes sick of my work in progress and therefore I don’t have to write as many words in a day.

Halloween was uneventful except for the next day when I went to the grocery store and got a bunch of leftover candy for 70% off.

Other than that, it has been writing, spending time with the hubs and the cat and many naps.

How have you all been?

I could get through life just fine quoting heavy metal lyrics.

  1. That is awesome to hear! I am glad your first is being proofread! I love reading your posts. Halloween was pretty slow here as well which is unusual. I think it should just be observed on the last Saturday of October. Sadly, I think trick or treating is becoming a thing of the past. Remember when going out in Bridesburg was always awesome no matter what day of the week it fell on? Good luck with your new novel. ☺
