Uniform in Nature

Uniform in nature, you and me

We have skeletons, blood, and feelers to see

The mind is what separates us

The way we feel; the way we think

If we could only respect those differences

The hate in the world would probably shrink

I could get through life just fine quoting heavy metal lyrics.

  1. Lovely and so true! If aliens attacked tomorrow, how quickly would we forget issues of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation and all the rest? We’d just be human, as we are. 😊
